Bradley Vogel

As the 2018 recipient of the Kansas Choral Director Association’s Harry Robert Wilson Award for lifetime achievements and contributions to choral music in Kansas, Dr. Bradley Vogel is one of the state’s most recognized names in choral conducting.

His ensembles have been selected to sing at the Kansas Music Educator’s Association’s In-Service Workshop six times, and his voice studio has produced 10 finalists and four first-place winners in the West Central Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions. In 2019, Dr. Vogel made his debut on the prestigious state of New York City’s Carnegie Hall to conduct Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass, and returned in 2022 to conduct the Hayes Te Deum. His next Carnegie appearance will be in June 2024 for Forrest’s Requiem for the Living.

Recently retired from full time teaching, Dr. Vogel remains busy as a clinician and adjudicator for ensembles and festivals nationwide. His original choral works are published by MusicSpoke and Imagine Music.

To play a wrong note is insignificant.
To play without passion is inexcusable!
